Located within the City of Melville, the park is on approximately 300 acres of land. It has 8 ball diamonds, walking and skiing trails and a golf course.

The park offers a variety of amenities which include an outdoor pool, tennis courts, ball diamonds and more. The City of Melville offers shopping, mechanical and church services, gas stations and restaurants.
Built on reclaimed wasteland in the early 1960s the park has matured into a beautiful facility. Massive tree planting programs over the years have turned what was once bald prairie into a well treed and forested area. The golf course has also matured from its original sand green 9 hole course into an excellent 18 hole fully irrigated grass greens golf facility.
60 campsites with water and 20 Amp service, 25 with 30 Amp and 20 non-serviced
site. There are several tent sites and group tenting areas. More 30 amp sites will be available in 2017 with picnic tables and fire pits included in all sites. On-Site Amenities & Services include:

The playground is adjacent to the swimming pool. Batting cages and tennis courts are located in the southeast boundary of the park.
